Feeling Better

Just wanted to let everyone know that Micah is still doing great. No more ickies and he is HUNGRY and wants to eat normal food again! (No more BRAT diet - bananas, rice, applesauce, toast - it is recommended for tummy problems.) We're so happy that he's feeling better - thanks again to everyone for thinking of him and saying prayers!

That's the good news... the bad news is that now Kevin and I have it. ICKY. My dad came over and picked Micah up so that we could relax for the evening. (I should be resting right now, or so says my husband :)

I've tried to get some fun pictures of Mic feeling better, but he's not been a good subject lately. Here he is last night after bath (which is naked playtime :)



You can tell (or I can) that he lost a bit of weight throughout his ordeal. He looks so skinny! Don't worry - he's working on packing it all back on! :)

That's all I can muster for now. I'm off to rest!

    Wow, it doesn't take long for little ones to lose weight!Glad he's doing better Stacie. Now you and Kevin get the BRAT diet!!Ooooh

    Oh Man! Been there, done that! Just when the baby is better, you get it! Hope it doesnt last too long, and I know he will gain his weight back quickly.

    I'm so sorry to hear that the worlds most cutest baby was so sick! But so thankful he is doing better. How scary! We all know these times happen....but never want to go through them. Feel better mom and dad.....hopefully i'm well rested and ready to keep up on your families lives!

    Poor little guy! And how scary for mommy & daddy. I can't believe how sick he got, and those pictures of him in his hospital bed all lethargic are so sad. I'm so glad he's home and you guys can focus on returning to normal. Get some sleep! XOXO

    Oh man, he looks so big (and skinny) in the pic of him sitting up staring at the camera! You know they are growing up when you can really start to see their little necks...and I see his little neck!

    I'm so glad to hear that all is returning to normal for you and your little one. And yes, his weight loss is clear as a bell. Poor little guy. If only he could eat donuts and pizza. Continue to hang in there!
