ON THE LIST!!
We are now officially a waiting family. Very exciting. It's starting to feel real now. I'm feeling the urge to go purchase Baby Girl D some new clothes. EEEK!
Just before Christmas 2006, we had gone to CHI for an information meeting and made our decision (that night) to adopt from Ethiopia. We were able to celebrate Christmas that year knowing we were moving towards parenthood. It is very exciting to celebrate Christmas this year knowing we're moving towards our baby girl.
Baby Girls are the BEST!!!! And I still say that this is just a ploy to have Micah hook up with Mari (you are finding a girlfriend for Mushky!). Man, if Mari married Micah and Mamushky married Micah's sister...... We'd all be in-laws. HAHAHAHAHA!

ReplyDeleteYEAAAAA! So happy for the Dixon clan. Very exciting stuff. Girls are awesome, go purchase tutus and frilly shirts, and demin skirts. Oh, and those socks that look like mary janes -- those are great! Gregg has not allowed me to purchase girl stuff until we KNOW Sam's a girl. Geez!
ReplyDeleteSo Exciting!!! Wait on the buying of clothes. It is hard. I couldn't wait with Noah but waited until we got Zoë's referral and I had much less that didn't get worn with her than with Noah.
